GMAIL LABS FEATURES

GMAIL has a unique set of advanced features to better manage the mail conversations. Most of these features are lesser known entities as GOOGLE itself labels them as experimental features. Few of them are worth using for better management of of our ONLINE daily tasks. 

First you need to ENABLE these features in settings after LOGIN to your GMAIL Account. 

Here's the list of the MOST interesting of them all that will improve your emailing behavior. 

ENABLE the features from list of LAB features as shown below: 

1. Right side CHAT - Places the CHAT BOX to right side of INBOX. 

2. Preview Pane - Helps to read the mail text content in a separate window next to the mail messages. This is same Outlook mails. It makes reading mails more faster. 

3. Custom Keyboard Shortcuts - This will help to type email faster with better focus on quality and content of mail subjects. 4. Canned Responses - Helps you to send auto reply immediately using a button next to the COMPOSE button. It helps to handle repetitive typing, the Canned Responses lab will save you some serious time. Enable it in GMAIL LABS, type in the messages you find yourself sending over and over again, and then send them in the future with the click of a button. They're are also available on phones. This is as shown below: 

5. Default REPLY ALL - Helps to set your default reply action to "Reply All" instead of just 'Reply'. Still if your want to just REPLY to one person you can do so by hitting the drop down menu next to the 'Reply All' button.

6. UNDO Send - GMAIL will wait for pre-defined time (usually set in seconds) before actually sending the mails. Helps to abort the strong worded messages or Not-sure type messages at the last moment. Believe us this is very useful !! After sending an EMAIL Message, GMAIL will wait a predefined number of seconds (5, 10, 20, or 30, configurable in Gmail's settings) before sending. During this period, you can hit the "UNDO" button to take back your mistake.
